Calee Reed
Musician & Singer
Calee began writing music of her own after high school. When her mother was diagnosed with cancer, her focus turned to Christian media and worship music.
After battling colon cancer for four years, her mother became terminally ill and Calee began writing worship music of her own as a way to sustain her faith. Calee credits Christian music for keeping her belief in God alive during that difficult time.
She penned The Waiting Place – her debut album – as a way to give back to the music community and reach others who find themselves experiencing similar trials in life.
The album was released by Shadow Mountain Records in May of 2012. Since the release of The Waiting Place, she has traveled the country sharing her message of hope and faith. Calee has shared the stage with her own personal spiritual heroes (Brad Wilcox, Sheri Dew, John Bytheway, and more) as a presenter with the Time Out for Women/Girls program(s) since 2013.
